Playing Your Cards Close to Your Chest

I don't recall whether this is from World War 1 or 2, but that old superstition about it taking three times to light a cigarette being bad luck...

It's kind of been trailing me for a couple of days now.

I talk a lot.

Too much for someone who wants to run a successful business.

I've stated everything I plan to do.

.....

Not good.

All right, you kind of need to talk things through at the VERY beginning... just to work things out.

Okay. - I've worked things out.

Now I have to do them.

If I keep on talking at this point... I might as well not charge anyone for my services.

At this point, the only thing left is for someone that DOES know how to make money, to come around, hear my ideas, and execute the plan himself.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned... everything a couple of times.

The sniper's already spotted me.

The sniper's taken aim.

.....

In short, boys and girls, this is where everything turns into a business.

Everyone's surrounded by a bunch of ideas.

How you put those ideas together... how you plan it out... how you execute your plan... how you follow through...

It's these things that'll determine whether you're successful or not.

.....

And picking out the RIGHT thing... That's what will determine whether you're even able to do these things.

And when I say the right thing, I mean the right thing for you.

What am I thankful for on this November 24th, 2022 Thursday?

I guess I'm thankful for Brett Dev.

After a couple of years of adding his channel to my "Featured Channels" list, I've finally become a subscriber.

His somewhat dubious beginnings were a tad... off-putting.

But what the hey, his insights, as always, continue to be remarkable.
